Our communications committee is looking for volunteers to help us with event organizing, telephone banking, advertising the club by posting newsletters and flyers on the job sites and at locals; help with members meetings and help with raffles. Puerto Rican Day Parade News Update:
The 60th Annual National Puerto Rican Day Parade is a GO! After a change in circumstances over the controversy of this year’s honoree, the Executive Board has made the decision to continue the tradition of marching. Come to pick up your wrist band at Monday, June 5th meeting. Since there is a limited amount…first come, first serve. Also, we will need volunteers to help set up float on Sunday, June 11th @ 10:00am so please sign up.
Next Members Meeting will be held Monday, July 10th due to Independence Day. Join us and other clubs of the NYC District Council of Carpenters for UNITY OF THE CLUBS (location to be determined).

Bike Raffle Tickets are currently being sold to raise funds for our Charity of choice, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Children’s Unit. Tickets are just $5 each and you’ll be helping support a worthy cause.
Get your Bike Raffle ticket! The Executive Committee of the UBC Latino Club and participating Members will be selling tickets. Raffle will take place on Monday May 4th and are only $5 for a 21-Speed Jeep Bike.

Join us today as we gear up for the Five Boro Bike Tour. Meet Team Captain Juan Gonzalez from Local 157 who will be hosting a Clinic and get your Team shirts squared away. Registration is closed but we are still looking for Volunteers to help with event Sunday May 3rd in all the Boroughs.
We will also have Guest Speakers for upcoming events and will have Elections in June for Positions on the UBC Latino Association Executive Committee. So come on down to 395 Hudson Street, 10th Floor to register for a Community Service of your choice and select a Member to be Nominated. Bring a Friend too
