Emergency Preparedness

If there ever were an emergency, would you be prepared?

There are different types of emergencies you may run into, natural, biological and man made.

Preparedness begins in the home. Make sure to do an assessment of food and supplies needed to help sustain you and your family. Even becoming unemployed can cause a personal emergency so stocking up can relieve the stress of how will you be able to put food on the table.

Get certified to help your family and community.

Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Heart 9/11 and Team Rubicon. We have done humanitarian relief with these organizations. If you are interested, contact Local 157 Sister Cecilia Baez Raymond at 646-544-8114 or ubclatinoclub@gmail.com
