Volunteers needed for repair of floats.
Date – Saturday, June 6th
Time – 8:00am – 1:00pm
Place – 100 Eads Street, West Babylon, Long Island
Looking to have 20 Volunteers to help repair 5 floats. These are the same floats that are used for the National Puerto Rican Day Parade, Labor Day Parade as well as the Pride Parade.
The work for the day will be patching hand rails, floors, side walls and other minor details. You will need to bring your hand tools and what ever power tools you may have like drill, saws, extension cords, jigsaw, etc…
Lunch will be provided.
If you need a ride, we will have a car pool…Let us know.
Join us at our Monday, June 1st meeting to get your wristband for Parade and more details.
P.S. Driver will be needed for day of National Puerto Rican Day Parade to drive van on June 14th.

Join us on Sunday, June 14th to March at this year’s 2015 National Puerto Rican Day Parade down 5th Avenue from 44th-79th Street. Meet up at 9am…March at aprox. 11am.
Come to our June 1st Members Meeting to pick up your wristband. One wristband will be given per Carpenter who attend Meeting. A guest list will be run and on day of Parade confirmed guests will be given their wristbands.

Union Carpenter Brothers & Sisters, On Sunday, May 3rd the UBC Latino Club Bike Team will be riding around the 5 Boroughs of New York City in the TD FIVE BORO BIKE TOUR.
We would like to thank all of the Volunteers & Riding Marshals who will be helping support us & representing the Carpenters Union in this Annual event. A special thank you goes to our New Team Captain Juan Gonzalez from Local 157 and all of our Sponsors for their participation & donations.
Please join us on Monday, May 4th, 2015 for our next UBC Latino Club Meeting as we raffle off this year’s bike for a Jeep Hybrid 21-speed. We also have many upcoming events & news we would like to share with you.

Bike Raffle Tickets are still being sold to raise funds for our Charity of choice, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Children’s Unit. Tickets are just $5 each and you’ll be helping support a worthy cause.
