UBC Latino Club 2014 Holiday Party, Monday, December 1st

Join us for our Annual Holiday Party. We will be accepting unwrapped gifts for children and donate them to an organization through Toys for Tots.

Date: Monday, December 1, 2014
Time: 4:30 Social. 5:00 Meeting
Admission: Your donation of a gift or $10 that will go towards the donation. You will also receive 1 Raffle Ticket for Tool Giveaway.

Food and drink included

50/50 Raffle
1 ticket for $10 or 3 tickets for $20

Member’s Dues are $5

 

Ballots for the upcoming Election have been mailed and we will have the Candidates speak, so come join us and get to know them.

We are doing it again…Join us for our Second Annual Dinner Boat Cruise on the River Rose.

On Saturday, September 27th at 6:30pm
for boarding and 7:00pm departure until 11:00pm.

Dinner, Beverages, Casino Night, Live Music, Raffles – 50/50, Basket of Cheer & DJ included for $65.00 per person. Dress casual preferred.

Take subway train to the Citifield station and walk to Marina. Free parking when you mention the River Rose. Great variety of live music & DJ for dancing. All while cruising the sky-line of Manhattan.

Great News!

Registration for the Civil Service Carpenter Exam has been reopened until Tuesday, January 14th.  Exam will be give at a CTC Center on Tuesday, February 25th, 2014.

Note: If you are a Veteran, receive unemployment insurance benefit payments, certain forms of public assistance,  or other similar benefits you may have the application fee waived by submitting documentation of your fee waiver type (see Exam Fee Waiver FAQs). The fee waiver documentation must be submitted at a CTC Application Center or mailed to DCAS Application Unit, 1 Centre Street, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10007 along with the application receipt generated by OASys. If you are applying for and taking a test at a CTC, bring the fee waiver documentation with you to the test.

Civil Service Carpenter Exam Class
For members who have already registered for the Civil Service Carpenter Exam, there will be a prep class offered on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 7:00am SHARP until 3:30pm.
Space is limited so please call the school at 212-727-2224 to register. If your name is not on the sign-in sheet, you will not be allowed to stay.

The next Latino Club Meeting will take place February 3rd @ 4:30pm, 395 Hudson Street, 10th Floor.
