Unity of the Clubs

Join your Brothers & Sisters of the New York City District Council of Carpenters for a Special Meeting called Unity of the Clubs at the NYCDCC Labor Technical College, 2nd floor on Monday July 2nd, 2018 @ 4:30pm.

Unity of the Clubs is an event where each of the clubs of the NYCDCC will be given an opportunity to introduce themselves. They will speak about what they do, what events are coming up as well as volunteer opportunities. We believe that there are Apprentices and members that would be interested and may not know that all of these clubs and support systems exist.

Joining a club gives a member the opportunity for mentorship, giving back to their community, a feeling of belonging, peer support and networking. At events hosted by these organizations, committees or clubs there are guest speakers, Good of the Order, volunteer opportunities, t-shirt & merchandise sales to help support the club and something that members can proudly sport on the job or wherever they want and is visible to the public eye. It gives Brothers & Sisters a chance to catch up if they happen to miss their Local meeting, encourage participation in Union activities hosted by the District Council, and socialize at events where they may bring a loved one to share an experience with their peers.

Food & beverages will be served at this event. Raffles will be won and t-shirt orders can be placed.
